Know exactly where it comes from.
Every pack of Field Origin moringa carries an origin code. It links to the farm the leaf grew on, the day it was harvested, and the lab result for that harvest. This page explains how our moringa is made and how to trace yours.
How is our moringa made?
In 5 steps, from picking the leaf to sealing the pouch. Every harvest is logged at each step.

1[Day 0]
Harvest
Leaves are picked by hand on named partner farms in [region], early in the morning. Each lot is logged with its farm and date.

2[Day 0 to 2]
Drying
The leaves are dried in the shade at [temperature] to keep their colour and flavour. [Confirm drying method].

3[Day 3]
Milling
Dried leaves are stone-milled into a fine powder in small lots, so each pack can be traced back to its harvest.

4[Day 3 to 5]
Testing
A sample from every harvest goes to [LAB NAME] before anything is packed. Harvests that do not pass are not sold.

5[Day 5]
Packing
Harvests that pass are sealed in food-grade pouches, with the origin code and best-before date printed on the back.
How is every harvest tested?
Every harvest is tested by [LAB NAME], [accreditation], before it is packed.
- Heavy metals: [lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury]
- Microbiology: [total plate count, yeast and mould, E. coli, Salmonella]
- [Pesticide residues, if tested]
- [Moisture]
